Worship Services
First Protestant Church offers both traditional and contemporary styles of worship.
Traditional Worship
Two services (8:00 & 10:30) offer traditional yet progressive styles of corporate worship. These services offer a healthy blend of older hymns while introducing a wide range of newer sacred music as well. The liturgy incorporates the choir and the congregation in a variety of worshipful elements that invite all participants to have an authentic experience with God. The messages are generally delivered by the senior minister.
Contemporary Worship
The River
This service offers participants the opportunity to join with other worshipers in a less formal collective expression of love for Jesus and each other. The service guides those who attend in a dynamically refreshing and life-transforming encounter with Jesus that both honors Him and transforms the worshiper. A talented and inspired musical worship team offers the worshipers avenues of expression in their corporate praise of God. The messages are generally delivered by the Associate Minister and are meant to inspire greater love for Jesus and others. The service meets each Sunday morning at 10:30 in the Schumann Hall.
