Lay Ministries & Pastoral Care

Through Lay Ministry, First Protestant Church ministers to people who cannot participate in the ordinary life of the church for whatever reason. Many of these individuals are shut-ins whose contact with the church may only be through online or radio broadcasts. To better serve their needs, we provide spiritual friendship and the opportunity to participate in the sacraments through our lay ministry program. We are actively seeking people who would like to serve as the hands and feet of Christ for these precious people! We have a variety of supportive ministries that operate “as needed”. Grief Share, Premarital Counseling, Marriage Enrichment Groups, and other ministries of pastoral care are available as needs arise.
