BIG SERVE Saturday

BIG SERVE Saturday

What is Big Serve?

The purpose of the Big Serve is to enable congregations to come together and give tangible service to the community of New Braunfels and be the hands and feet of Jesus. First Protestant Church will have four outreach teams for this year’s Big Serve weekend. Mark your calendar for October 14-15 and join us!

Project #1 – Fill the Freezers at Salvation Army
Grab an aluminum pan or two and fill them with your favorite casserole. (To feed 30) Label it, freeze them and return them to FPC Saturday morning!

Project #2 – Landscape and Garden Clean Up at Salvation Army
Bring your gloves, rakes, trimmers, etc. and help us clean up the grounds around the Salvation Army. We will also be repairing /replacing some outdoor ceiling fans and repairing/painting some benches. Bring a pull top can of food for their food pantry for extra points!

Project #3 – Landscape and Garden Clean Up at S.O.S. Foodbank
Bring your gloves, rakes, trimmers, etc., and help us clean up the grounds around the S.O.S. foodbank. Bring a canned or dry goods food item to donate for extra points!

Project #4 – Youth Hangout Room at Salvation Army
Tyler and the youth are excited to take on this project. If you would like to help Tyler as he assists the youth, please contact him for more information.

These teams will meet on the front lawn of First Protestant Church at 9am October 14th for instructions, prayer, and send off.

Then join us to celebrate with a luncheon on Sunday the 15th after the 2nd service!

Signup sheets will be available at the Information Table in the Schumann Hall. Missions Board members will be circulating clipboards during the coffee/breakfast time.
