Proposed FPC Constitution & By-Laws
The Church Council would like to invite all members of First Protestant Church to the Annual Congregational Meeting to be held on December 13 at the conclusion of the 11am Contemporary Service in Schumann Hall. As stated in the Church By-Laws, the purpose of this meeting is to elect members to the Council and various Church Boards as needed, present the Church financial report and approve a budget, and address other items of business as determined by the Church Council.
This year the Council will bring a revised Church Constitution and By-Laws document to the congregation for consideration. To allow members to prepare for this portion of the congregational meeting, a revised copy of the Constitution and By-Laws is available below (click the link), and available upon request through the Church office. Additionally, the council will hold an open forum on December 6th after the Contemporary Service in Schumann Hall to allow members to hear rationale for changes and ask specific questions to the Council.
We look forward to engaging with members of our Church family about the business of First Protestant Church.
