Wednesday Evening Small Groups
Small Groups meet weekly on campus and in homes to discuss biblical basis for contemporary situations. Some groups offer childcare and “potluck” dinners. Fine fellowship and lasting friendships are the best fringe benefits to these bible studies. Most groups 8 to 12 people attending, including the Host and Co-host. If you’d like to be a Host, Co-host or join one of these great groups, contact Bob Wynne, Lay Minister of Pastoral Care at ext. 23.
Bible Study Fellowship (BSF)
Real discipleship always includes Bible knowledge. One of the most effective and successful programs to help lay people learn Scripture is Bible Study Fellowship. Fortunately, New Braunfels is blessed with this program. Starting each fall in September, on Monday nights at 6:55 PM, men and women gather to improve their relationship with Christ through studying scripture. Men meet at First Protestant Church and women meet at New Braunfels Bible Church. Introductory classes take place at the first meeting of each month. Please contact Sid Armstrong at 210-710-5302 or sidneyarmstrong@yahoo.com for more information.
Music, Music, Music
If you’ve always wanted to raise your voices or ring a couple of bells in the worship and praise of God, NOW’S your chance! Regular rehearsals for the Hand Bells meet at 6:30pm in the Hand Bell Room, and the FPC Choir meets at 7:30 pm. Wednesday nights throughout the fall and spring in the Choir Room. Call our Director of Music & Fine Art, Dr. Joey Martin.
